Special Education Teacher
Position Overview:
Soliant is seeking dedicated, collaborative, and student-centered Special Education Teachers to join our growing team. Multiple openings are available across elementary, middle, and high school settings, including resource, inclusion, self-contained, and specialized support programs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals and state standards
- Provide specialized instruction and academic interventions for students with disabilities
- Adapt curriculum, assignments, and instructional methods to meet individual student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Implement classroom management and positive behavior support strategies
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field required
- Valid state teaching certification/licensure in Special Education required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of IEP development, differentiated instruction, and behavior supports
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
- Previous special education teaching experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in inclusion, co-teaching, or specialized instructional settings
- Familiarity with assistive technology and data-driven instruction
- Experience supporting students with autism, emotional disabilities, or significant support needs
- Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills
