Virtual Special Education Teacher - OK

A contract opportunity is available for three full-time Special Education Teachers to support students in elementary and middle school settings via telehealth services in Altus, OK. These roles focus on delivering specialized instruction primarily to students with mild disabilities, with paraprofessional assistance provided in the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique learning needs.
• Deliver telehealth-based special education instruction using evidence-based strategies.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals to support student engagement and progress.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents, school staff, and related service providers to ensure consistency and support.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with mild disability caseloads, specifically in elementary and middle school settings.
• Ability to deliver telehealth services effectively.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
