Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Conducting telehealth sessions to provide specialized interventions, monitors, and assessments remotely
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to tailor educational strategies and resources
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting instruction as necessary to support academic and social-emotional development
- Documenting interventions and maintaining communication with families, caregivers, and school personnel
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience in delivering special education services via telehealth or virtual platforms preferred
- Strong understanding of secondary education curriculum and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage students remotely
- Ability to work independently within the designated hours
