A virtual position is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in telehealth to provide targeted instruction in reading and writing for a student in need of specially designed support. This contract opportunity is based in Peterborough, NH, and offers a part-time, remote schedule catering to a flexible supplemental role.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver virtual reading and writing specially designed instruction aligned with the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Conduct 6 total 30-minute sessions weekly, with 4 dedicated to reading SDI and 2 to writing SDI
- Monitor and document student progress in accordance with IEP requirements
- Collaborate with school staff as necessary to support student outcomes
Qualifications and experience:
- Active New Hampshire Special Education certification is required
- Experience with virtual instruction and/or expertise in reading and writing interventions is preferred
Schedule details:
- Approximately 3 direct service hours per week
- Fully remote, enabling flexibility to meet scheduling needs
