- Valid Arizona teaching license in Special Education
- Current IVP fingerprint clearance card (required)
- Experience working with junior high students preferred

Position Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs within the SPICE I classroom
- Foster academic, social, and emotional growth for students in the junior high age group
- Work closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and support staff to ensure each student receives appropriate modifications and support
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
- Maintain open communication with families regarding student development and learning goals
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education
- Participate in staff meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development opportunities
