Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active Tennessee Special Education teaching license with all required endorsements
- Demonstrated expertise developing and implementing IEPs, including compliance and documentation
- Skilled in monitoring student progress and facilitating data-driven instruction
- Experience with inclusion and pull-out educational models
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Your Role Will Include:
- Designing and delivering individualized instructional plans for elementary students receiving special education services
- Creating, monitoring, and updating IEPs in collaboration with families and educational teams
- Using data to assess student progress, guide instruction, and support growth
- Providing both in-class (inclusion) and pull-out services as appropriate
- Participating in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing communication with families
- Fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment and advocating for student needs
