Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active Wisconsin Special Education (SPED) License required
- Prior experience with elementary-aged students in a school-based setting
- Proven skills supporting students on the autism spectrum, especially in ASD classrooms
- Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience strongly preferred
- Solid classroom management and differentiated instruction skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students in the ASD classroom
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including related services, teachers, and families
- Apply ABA principles and data-driven strategies to ensure student progress
- Foster a supportive, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Track academic, behavioral, and social objectives, providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Adapt lessons and materials to meet individual learning needs and IEP goals
