Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Valid South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) teaching license in a special education area (Learning Disabilities, Multi-categorical, Emotional Disabilities)
- Experience working with elementary students (grades 3-5), particularly those with significant needs
- Ability to collaborate with instructional assistants and contribute effectively within a supportive team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a classroom of 11 students in grades 3-5, working with the support of three instructional assistants
- Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to students who participate in non-standard assessments
