This full-time contract opportunity features four exciting openings across elementary, middle, and high school levels. You’ll have the opportunity to support students in an urban setting, making a lasting impact within a collaborative, onsite environment.
Assignment Details:
- Four full-time roles available:
- Elementary School: 8:30AM–4:00PM
- Middle School: 8:30AM–4:00PM or 8:00AM–3:15PM (to be determined)
- High School (two positions): 7:15AM–2:45PM
- 35 hours per week; August 24, 2026 through June 10, 2027
- Onsite presence is required; reliable transportation essential
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in special education instruction, classroom, and behavioral management
- Active Pennsylvania certification/licensure suitable for the caseload (bachelor’s degree required for emergency permit holders)
- Completion of all Pennsylvania clearances prior to start
- Previous experience working within a school setting, preferably in an urban environment
- Strong adaptability and commitment to fulfill scheduled hours without accommodations
- Proficiency in lesson planning that aligns with state/district standards and leverages formative assessment and differentiation
- Comfortable using digital platforms such as Zoom for interviews
