Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid CTC Certification: ESN, M/S, or an approved equivalent
- Prior experience working with high school students with moderate to severe disabilities
- Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP processes, and best instructional practices
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners in an inclusive setting
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver evidence-based instruction in both group and one-on-one settings
- Adapt curriculum materials to ensure accessibility for all students
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and general education teachers
- Maintain thorough records and communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Foster a supportive and respectful classroom atmosphere where every student can succeed
