Key Qualifications:

  • Special Education certification (licensed candidates from any state welcome; DMV area licensure preferred)
  • Experience or strong interest in co-teaching/resource roles, especially in 4th-grade ELA
  • Commitment to inclusive education and differentiated instruction
  • Ability to work full-time (8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., 40 hours per week) for the 26/27 school year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-teach and provide resource support in a 4th-grade ELA classroom (80% co-teaching, 20% resource)
  • Develop, implement, and adapt IEPs in collaboration with classroom teachers
  • Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth
  • Communicate regularly with families, support staff, and administrators
