Key Qualifications:
- Valid Teaching Credential specializing in Special Education (moderate/severe preferred).
- Prior experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities.
- Strong skills in case management, IEP development, and progress monitoring.
- Collaborative approach and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to create supportive, inclusive classroom environments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement tailored lesson plans that address a range of learning needs for students with moderate/severe disabilities.
- Serve as a case manager, overseeing IEPs, compliance, scheduling and facilitating meetings.
- Track and document student progress; report findings to families and school personnel.
- Work in partnership with support staff, therapists, and administration to provide holistic student care.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and motivating learning environment for all students.
