Current openings span multiple elementary and middle school settings, each playing a vital role in cultivating academic growth and positive outcomes for students with diverse needs:
What We’re Looking For:
- Active EC General Curriculum licensure (general curriculum focus only)
- Experience supporting special education students in elementary and/or middle school environments
- Confidence working in resource and/or self-contained classrooms with students accessing general curriculum content
- Strong commitment to differentiation, individualized supports, and collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to uphold all standard state and district credentialing requirements, including background checks
- For Davis Townsend role: Proficiency supporting students with autism in a self-contained environment while delivering the standard curriculum
- For Silver Valley Elementary role: Ability to consistently work the exact part-time schedule—Monday–Thursday, 8:45 AM – 1:45 PM
Responsibilities:
- Deliver IEP-aligned instruction and interventions across core subject areas
- Adapt teaching strategies and materials for students’ unique needs
- Foster communication between families, support staff, and administration
- Document progress and maintain compliance with all state/district policies
- Manage classroom behavior and create an inclusive, supportive atmosphere
