Special Education Teacher - Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Key Qualifications:
- Valid EC General Curriculum licensure (must NOT hold only Adapted Curriculum)
- Prior experience supporting K–8 students with diverse educational needs
- Ability to fulfill standard Georgia/State EC licensure, background check, and compliance protocols
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
- Experience with or willingness to work in self-contained settings for students with autism (for specified roles)
- For Silver Valley Elementary: Availability to commit to the set part-time schedule, Monday–Thursday, 8:45 AM – 1:45 PM

- EC Resource Teacher (Part-Time, Silver Valley Elementary; support K–2 students on a fixed weekly schedule)
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated instruction aligned with the general education curriculum
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
