Special Education Teacher | Yelm, Washington
Make an impact as a Special Education Teacher specializing in Math for middle school students. This contract opportunity spans from September 1 through June 4, offering a chance to work closely with a dedicated team and supportive administration. You’ll be working 37.5 hours per week, providing resource support to students with mild to moderate disabilities.

Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Special Education (SPED) credential
- ESA certification required
- Experience teaching Math at the middle school level preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and resource room models
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt instruction for students with mild to moderate disabilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging math instruction and support in a resource setting
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, families, and support staff
- Assess student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Create a supportive, inclusive learning atmosphere
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
