Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Michigan Special Education license with CI (Cognitive Impairment) or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) endorsement required
- Experience in K-12 special education settings, preferably with elementary ASD or CI caseloads
- Passion for supporting diverse learners and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction for students in two elementary ASD/CI classrooms and one resource room
- Design, implement, and adapt IEPs according to student needs
- Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and support staff
- Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining detailed records
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
