Key Qualifications:

  • Current teaching certification in Special Education
  • Experience in high school resource settings preferred
  • Expertise in serving students with Learning Disabilities (LD), Other Health Impairments (OHI), and Emotional Disabilities (ED)
  • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct special education services and specially designed instruction (SDI)
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 20 students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for assigned students
  • Complete special education paperwork accurately and timely
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Track student progress toward academic goals
