Special Education Teacher | Andover, Minnesota

This is a part-time role (.5 position) with flexible options for scheduling—choose from mornings Monday through Friday (8:15 am–12:15 pm) or select extended days on Monday and Wednesday, paired with Tuesday morning. There is also the potential for this part-time assignment to transition to a full-time role, allowing you to grow and deepen your impact over time.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Tier 4 Early Childhood Special Education License
- Experience teaching or supporting young children with varied developmental needs
- Strong understanding of IEP goals and reporting processes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability with scheduling and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized instruction and interventions to early childhood students
- Collaborate with therapists, staff, and families for comprehensive program planning
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages all learners
- Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Help foster students’ cognitive, emotional, and social skills
