Desired Experience & Skills:
- Minnesota teaching credential in one or more of the following: Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Disabilities, Early Childhood, Emotional Behavioral Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Special Education, or Academic & Behavioral Strategist License
- Exceptional problem-solving and behavior management skills
- Thorough understanding of behavior plans, classroom routines, and instructional strategies
- Reliable attendance record
- Track record collaborating with both special education/general education staff and paraprofessionals
Job Responsibilities:
- Fulfill a 37.5 hr/week schedule, focusing on resource, ASD, and DCD center-based programs at middle and elementary school levels
- Support students, with an emphasis on behavioral interventions and individualized support plans
- Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor student goals
- Lead and coordinate with paraprofessionals
- Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs
