Special Education Teacher in Osseo, MN

Key Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required; must be submitted with your application and resume)
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher within school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Strong understanding of IEP development, documentation, and goal progress monitoring
- Ability to foster inclusive and supportive classroom environments
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction to elementary students within the resource program
- Develop, implement, and track IEPs for students with diverse needs
- Partner with general education teachers to adapt and differentiate curriculum
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to advocate for students and strategize support
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student progress and compliance requirements
- Engage families and caregivers in the educational process to encourage ongoing student development
This contract assignment offers a Monday through Friday schedule, with 37.5 hours per week at an engaging elementary school emphasizing innovative STEM and engineering programs.
