This contract position involves a consistent, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active Minnesota Teaching License is required
- Possession of a Tier 3 or Tier 4 Minnesota teaching license
- Previous experience working in an elementary special education setting is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver customized instruction for students with a range of learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Track and report student progress through regular assessments and documentation
- Maintain consistent, clear communication with families and caregivers regarding student growth and goals
- Create a positive, structured classroom environment where all students can thrive
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education
