Special Education Teacher in Anoka, MN

What You Bring:
- Active Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License (Tier 1 or 2 accepted; preference given to Tier 3 or 4)
- Licensure in Emotional or Behavioral Disorders (EBD) required
- Proven experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting
- Strong commitment to individualized instruction, student advocacy, and creating inclusive learning spaces
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
- Flexibility and dedication to student needs as enrollment and caseload may vary
Role Highlights:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to a center-based elementary caseload of approximately 11 students (numbers may fluctuate)
- Assess, plan, and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique emotional and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with a team of educators, therapists, and administrative staff to foster student growth
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Engage with families and caregivers to support student goals and create a positive school experience
