Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Generalist license (required for all positions)
- Previous experience working with students with autism or neurodiverse needs preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Work closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families to provide comprehensive support
- Track student progress and modify strategies as needed
- Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging learning atmosphere
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and collaborative decision-making
