What you’ll bring:
- Valid Colorado SPED Generalist license (required for all positions)
- Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher, with a strong understanding of ASD or Affective Needs classrooms
- Ability to create and implement IEPs tailored to individual student goals and learning styles
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and adapt curriculum for students with diverse learning needs
- Work in partnership with general education teachers, therapists, and families
- Monitor progress, collect data, and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Advocate for student needs within multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain all required documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
