- 2 roles in an Elementary ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) Center
- 1 position supporting Middle School AN (Affective Needs)
- 1 position supporting High School AN (Affective Needs)
You’ll work 37.5 hours per week on a W2 hourly contract, with the opportunity to engage students and collaborate closely with experienced colleagues and an agency familiar with contractor needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid SPED Generalist license (required for all positions)
- Experience or adaptability in teaching students with diverse needs, including ASD and AN classrooms
- Strong communication skills for partnering with families, colleagues, and related service providers
- Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to inclusive, student-focused education
Role responsibilities:
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet students’ individualized goals
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress regularly
- Collaborate with general education teachers and ancillary staff
- Foster an encouraging classroom environment where each student can succeed
- Maintain compliance with relevant special education laws and documentation requirements
