Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification for Kansas
- Experience supporting students in resource and/or self-contained classrooms
- Comfortable working with elementary, middle, or high school age groups
- Proficient with individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting curriculum
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Enthusiasm for fostering inclusive, growth-centered learning environments
Role Overview:
- Deliver direct instruction, intervention, and support to students with varied needs
- Develop, implement, and track progress on IEPs in partnership with families and colleagues
- Collaborate with general educators, paras, and related service providers
- Create positive, structured, and adaptive classroom settings for learning success
- Maintain compliance with documentation requirements and timelines
- Participate in ongoing professional development as needed
