Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement (or eligibility)
- Strong background in differentiated instruction to address varied educational needs
- Experience developing and executing IEPs across multiple grade levels
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Familiarity working with students with diverse disabilities, including autism and emotional challenges
- Professional, flexible, and resourceful approach to meeting each student’s unique needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and individualized instruction tailored to students’ IEPs
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom climate for K-12+ learners
- Use data to guide lesson planning, track progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Partner with general education and related service providers to promote student success
- Collaborate with families to ensure comprehensive support for each student
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with state/federal guidelines
This onsite, in-person position follows a Monday–Thursday schedule from 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM, giving you Fridays off to recharge. The contract runs from August 18th, 2026, through May 20th, 2027. The assignment is located within a supportive school community that values creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
