Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current Arizona Special Education certificate
- Valid (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Background or experience working with early elementary students in a structured classroom setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for individualized instruction and inclusive education
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for K-2 students, addressing academic, behavioral, and social goals
- Provide direct instruction, interventions, and supports within a structured classroom environment
- Utilize evidence-based strategies and adapt teaching methods to accommodate a variety of learning styles and needs
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom culture
- Work closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as needed
