Key Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License is required
- Special Education teaching experience, preferably with K-8 students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
- Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
- Skilled in delivering differentiated instruction and managing IEP processes
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction according to IEPs
- Develop accommodations and modifications to support student success
- Coordinate with support staff and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Provide progress updates to families and participate in parent meetings
- Engage in school-wide professional development and training opportunities
