Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License
- Previous Special Education teaching experience, particularly in K–8 settings
- Enthusiasm for working in charter schools
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to undergo fingerprinting and complete onboarding requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in close partnership with families and support staff
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
- Collaborate with general educators and support staff to differentiate instruction
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed to encourage growth
- Participate in training opportunities and school-wide initiatives
