Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and valid State Special Education Teacher certification
- Strong commitment to individualized instruction and student success
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs and behavior plans
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with students, families, and staff
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to students with diverse learning needs in both individual and small group settings
- Develop and adapt curriculum to meet each student’s unique learning goals
- Progress monitor and document student achievements and challenges
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents as part of the IEP team
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations for special education
- Cultivate a supportive, positive, and inclusive classroom culture
