ProCare Therapy is actively hiring multiple Special Education Teachers (SPED) to support students in the Burnsville, Minnesota area for the 2026–2027 school year. Openings are available in both center-based autism programs and elementary resource classrooms, supporting students with a variety of learning and behavioral needs. This is an excellent opportunity for educators with experience or interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), special education services, and individualized instruction.
Position Overview:
- Full-time, school-based position for the 2026–2027 school year
- On-site roles within middle school and elementary settings
- Multiple openings available across different program types
- Structured school-day schedule aligned with district calendar
Caseload & Programs:
- Center-Based (ASD Programs)
- Students receiving 60%+ of their day in specialized programming
- Focus on autism support, communication, social skills, and behavioral interventions
Resource Positions:
- Elementary caseloads supporting academic and behavioral goals
- Mix of push-in and pull-out services
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other learning needs
- Implement behavioral interventions and academic support strategies
- Track and report student progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
- Maintain compliance with IDEA and Minnesota special education standards
- Create a structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License
- ASD license preferred (required for center-based roles)
- Resource positions may accept ABS licensure
- Experience with autism programs, behavioral supports, or classroom interventions preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Compensation & Benefits:
