Desired Qualifications
- Hold a current Minnesota Special Education teaching credential in one or more of the following: Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Disabilities, Early Childhood, Emotional Behavioral Disorders, Learning Disabilities, or Academic & Behavioral Strategist License
- Strong expertise in behavior strategies and classroom management
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Exceptional instructional and collaborative skills (with colleagues and paraprofessionals)
- Knowledge of behavior plans and experience creating structured classroom routines
Responsibilities
- Provide resource and center-based instruction for middle and elementary students
- Support students with behavior and emotional needs in cross-categorical settings
- Collaborate effectively with special and general education teams, as well as support staff
- Develop and implement individualized behavior and instructional plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
