Special Education Teacher - Carson City, Nevada

As a Special Education Teacher, you will help shape the academic and personal growth of students with significant cognitive, developmental, and/or behavioral disabilities.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Special Education Teacher certification in Nevada.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass both background check and drug screening.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and evidence-based instructional strategies designed to meet each student’s unique learning goals.
- Modify curriculum and classroom activities to accommodate varied learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families to create effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensure a supportive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records on student progress, participation, and behavioral interventions.
- Participate in professional development and remain current on special education best practices and requirements.
