Special Education Teacher - Washoe Valley, NV

Desired Qualifications:
- Hold an active Special Education Teacher certification for Nevada
- Authorized to work within the United States
- Successfully pass all required background checks and drug screening
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide differentiated, individualized instruction and interventions to students with special needs in a classroom or small group setting
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in alignment with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure optimal support and progress for each student
- Adapt curriculum and modify teaching techniques to meet students’ diverse needs
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress while maintaining compliance records
- Engage in professional development opportunities, staying informed about best practices in special education
