Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification for the state of Arizona
- Previous experience in a self-contained special education classroom preferred
- Knowledge of SEAL and/or PALS program models is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners
- Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
- A collaborative attitude and a passion for helping every student achieve their potential
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver thoughtful instruction and interventions in alignment with SEAL or PALS programming
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to optimize learning outcomes
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and structured learning environment
- Collaborate closely with support staff, therapists, and administrators
- Communicate effectively and professionally with families regarding student achievements and challenges
