In this role, you’ll work with a small caseload of 8-9 students, providing targeted instruction and ensuring each student receives the support they need to thrive in the classroom. Your expertise will help foster an inclusive, positive learning experience for every child.
Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia PSC Teaching Educator Certificate with Special Education General Curriculum endorsement
- Experience or strong interest in inclusive classroom settings
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and support teams
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Dedication to student growth, classroom engagement, and professional development
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support for a diverse group of students with varying needs
- Collaborate closely with general education and special education teams
- Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Utilize data to inform instructional decisions and interventions
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom climate
