Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification (OH)
- Experience working with high school students; drop-out recovery or alternative education settings is a plus
- Strong classroom management and differentiation skills

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- A true passion for supporting at-risk youth and helping them achieve graduation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals in both one-on-one and small group formats
- Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to promote ongoing growth
- Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, families, and support staff to bolster student success
- Contribute to a positive, restorative school climate that encourages perseverance and engagement
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and parent conferences as needed
- Foster resilience and self-advocacy skills among students to help them navigate challenges in and out of the classroom
