Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist License
- Experience working with high school-aged students within a special education setting
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and colleagues
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to support a diverse range of learning abilities
- Organizational skills and a proactive approach to case management and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and review individualized education programs (IEPs) to address students’ needs
- Deliver differentiated instruction and behavioral interventions in both classroom and individualized settings
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
- Partner with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student success
- Monitor progress, communicate regularly with parents and guardians, and maintain up-to-date records
