Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with certification as a Special Education Teacher in Colorado
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credential
- Experience working with children with a range of learning, emotional, or physical challenges
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- Commitment to fostering a safe, positive, and adaptable learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of student performance
- Encourage confidence and independence in every student
