This opportunity runs through June 2027, offering the chance to work onsite weekdays with a caring and dedicated educational team. You’ll focus on delivering personalized instruction and behavioral support to one elementary-aged student, helping to foster academic and social growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid and current CI (Cognitive Impairment) teaching certification required
- Experience or strong interest in working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) characteristics
- Background in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Ability to collaborate in a full team setting, addressing both academic and mental health needs
- Positive, proactive approach to managing challenging behaviors
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to student development
- Dedicated, reliable, and able to fulfill a full-time Monday–Friday schedule, 7:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction aligned with the student’s IEP
- Implement evidence-based behavioral and social-emotional strategies
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and specialists to ensure comprehensive support
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes
- Maintain close communication with the student’s support team and family
- Foster a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
