Details for this role:
- Term: June 1st through June 25th (ESY)
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, half-days (8:30am - Noon), totaling about 14 hours per week

- Interview: Panel format via Zoom; interviews will be scheduled as soon as the director is ready, with potential for same-day decisions
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid CDE SSP licensure required
- Experience as a special education teacher, particularly in school settings
- Ability to support a range of student needs during ESY, focusing on continuity and skill retention
- Positive, adaptive mindset and commitment to student growth
- Comfortable collaborating within a school team and following established curriculum and IEP goals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, individualized and group instruction to special education students according to their IEPs
- Foster a caring, inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Collaborate with other staff to monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed
- Maintain compliance with school district and state guidelines
- Complete necessary record-keeping and communication with families and staff
