About the Role:
ProCare Therapy is partnering with Mapleton Public Schools to hire Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a smaller, supportive district in the north Denver suburbs serving approximately 7,000 students across 16 schools.
The district is known for being welcoming to both new graduates and experienced educators, offering a collaborative environment and strong administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction based on student needs and placement
Develop, implement, and manage IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Collaborate with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and families
Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
Monitor progress and adjust instruction accordingly
Position Details:
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
2026–2027 school year (July 29, 2026 – May 28, 2027)
Onsite positions only (no virtual/hybrid options)
Placements available in:
Resource / co-teaching settings
Center-based classrooms (moderate to severe needs)
Autism and developmental delay programs
Caseloads vary by role and placement
Qualifications:
Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education License required (or in progress)
Candidates in the process of obtaining CDE licensure are encouraged to apply
CPI training preferred (training provided by district if needed)
Prior school-based experience preferred
Interview Process:
Step 1: Virtual screening interview (15–30 minutes)
Step 2: Panel interview (45–60 minutes; onsite preferred, virtual available if needed)
Additional Notes:
Travel candidates are welcome (please indicate relocation timeline)
CDE licensure status must be included with application
