Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification/license required
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- Must pass district background check post-offer
- Experience with K-5 students preferred
- Ability to teach Math and serve as case manager
- Comfortable leading 3-4 paraprofessionals in the classroom
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
- Teach Math and provide instruction to a class of approximately 20 students, managing a caseload of about 10
- Serve as case manager for assigned students
- Lead, support, and mentor classroom paraprofessionals
- Participate in panel and virtual interviews as part of the hiring process
- Collaborate effectively with school staff and parents/guardians
