Working with K-5 students, you’ll focus on teaching math and managing a small, dedicated caseload, supported by a talented team of paraprofessionals. Key Qualifications:
- Holds at least a high school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Active Special Education Teacher license or eligibility.
- Experience with elementary (K-5) students in a classroom setting.
- Strong ability to manage a team (3-4 paraprofessionals per class).
- Case management experience appreciated.
- Ability to complete a background check upon offer.
What You’ll Do:
- Teach math and provide specialized education for a K-5 caseload.
- Serve as case manager for approximately 10 students, supporting a class of 20.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise classroom paraprofessionals.
- Engage with students, staff, and families to advance individualized education plans.
- Participate in a panel interview (conducted virtually via Google Meets).
