Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (required)
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience developing and delivering Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with a range of instructional strategies and accommodations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver customized instruction for students with a variety of learning challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Foster a safe, supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement
- Adapt lessons and materials to meet individual student goals and learning styles
- Regularly assess students’ progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Partner with general education teachers, support personnel, and parents to ensure student success
- Participate in professional development activities and school meetings
