Key Qualifications:
- Valid Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification required
- Open to new graduates eager to learn and grow
- Experience or interest in serving students with a variety of disabilities in a general education setting
- Strong commitment to inclusive education and collaboration
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and accommodations to 8th-grade students (approx. 10 students) with varying disabilities
- Work in-person within a general education setting, adapting lessons to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
- Maintain accurate records and fulfill FMLA coverage from September through November 26
- Follow a consistent 7:55 am – 2:55 pm schedule, with a 30-minute lunch
