Special Education Teacher | Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Several positions are available, including three at Sanburg Middle School—two in resource and one in the RISE program, ensuring your expertise meets a variety of student needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Teaching Credential in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities.
- Holds or qualifies for a Tier 3 or Tier 4 Minnesota license.
- Demonstrated experience in providing direct services to students in special education programs.
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and case management for students receiving tiered interventions and support.
- Teach and implement individualized strategies for students with diverse learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for each student, ensuring program compliance.
- Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment.
- Liaise with teachers, support staff, and families to deliver coordinated services.
- Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and professional development.
