What we’re seeking:
- Active Minnesota (MN) teaching license is required.
- Previous experience working with students with developmental cognitive disabilities, emotional-behavioral disorders, autism, or specific learning disabilities.
- Previous experience in similar school environments is preferred; please note, candidates with prior placements in this district must have positive references and no history of conflicts.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and support staff.
- Adaptability to work in different settings (Settings 1–4), meeting individualized student needs.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering individualized educational plans (IEPs).
- Supporting students’ academic and social-emotional goals.
- Collaborating with general education teachers, therapists, and administrators.
- Tracking student progress and adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Engaging with families to ensure continuity between home and school supports.
