Openings are available in both elementary and specialized settings, including opportunities at Farnsworth Lower, Ben Mays, Mississippi, RiverEast, Nokomis North, The Heights, and Como Elementary. Some positions may offer hybrid options, though onsite presence is preferred.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education required
- Background in one or more areas: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities, Emotional Behavioral Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Specific Learning Disabilities
- Proven ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learner needs
- Positive references; candidates who have worked in the district previously should have a record free from conflicts or negative separations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction following prescribed IEPs
- Work collaboratively with support staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and adjust lesson plans and intervention strategies to optimize student achievement
- Maintain accurate documentation on goals, progress, and compliance
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
